Rachelle Cordova is a senior at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, majoring in English literature with a minor in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies. Rachelle received many academic awards including the President's Distinguished Student Faculty Mentor Program, an organization that unites academically-inclined students with faculty and their research, the Presidential Scholarship, Harrington Award, Robert E. Moore Award and the Jessie Comstock Award. Rachelle is also heavily involved in the creative writing department, regularly producing and revising poetry and short fiction films. She volunteers at Casa de Esperanza operating the Information Center and also tutors students at the Plymouth Christian Youth Center. This past summer, Rachelle worked for the University of Minnesota Press as a Production Assistant.
