Richalle Smith a Raleigh, North Carolina native, graduated from William G. Enloe High School in 2006, and currently attends Washington University in St. Louis majoring in Anthropology. Richalle plans to pursue a career in public health after graduation. Richalle is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where she serves as secretary. She is also a member of Harambee Christian Ministries and sings in the Visions Gospel Choir. Richalle has worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters in which she mentored a local elementary school student weekly. In addition she has been involved with the St. Louis Family Court Mentoring program where she mentored at-risk middle and high school students on a weekly basis. Richalle hopes to attend graduate school to obtain her Masters in Public Health. Her passion is to work internationally on improving access to health care for those who are under-served. During the summer, Richalle volunteered in the Maternal and Child Health department at Wake County Department of Health and Human Services in Raleigh, North Carolina.
