SPRING CONFERENCE

Each year, JRF Alumni gather together for a weekend of networking and fun in conjunction with the JRF Scholars’ Networking Weekend. In 2009, the Spring Conference will take place from March 13-March 19.  This year’s conference theme is My Personal Toolbox: Lifelong Strategies for Personal and Professional Success.  We hope you’ll plan to join us!  Click here for additional information regarding the conference and to register.

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

Keith Bevans, a 1996 graduate of MIT and former Jackie Robinson Foundation scholar, recently made partner at Bain & Company, a leading global business and strategy consulting firm.  Based in the Chicago office, he is the first African American to make partner within the firm.  Bevens joined Bain & Company as an associate consultant in 1996 and has worked with a variety of clients in the healthcare, airlines, paper, consumer products and retail industries.

Keith returned to Bain & Company in 2002 after completing his MBA with distinction from Havard Business School.  His primary focus is within the Healthcare and Performance Improvement Practice areas where he is tasked with developing a go-to-market strategy for a major food producer. He is also a member of the Chicago Office Promotion Committee. Keith lives in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood with his wife of 10 years and two sons.
