The Jackie Robinson Foundation is happy to announce that BMO Capital Markets, Major League Baseball, Bloomberg and the Los Angeles Dodgers have reached a significant philanthropic milestone with JRF having each supported our scholarship and leadership development initiative with $1 million or more during the course of the last six years, making them the newest members of JRF’s Donor Hall of Fame.
Collectively, these sponsors have made gifts and pledges of nearly $5.9 million, providing more than 100 scholars with tuition assistance and comprehensive support services to ensure their successful college completion and career preparedness. Our highly touted mentoring and leadership development program has become the distinguishing hallmark of JRF.
For nearly 40 years, JRF has fostered the academic growth and professional development of 1,400 talented minority youth across the United States. We are extremely proud of our work and our scholars and recognize the critical role philanthropy plays in achieving such success.
JRF extends sincere thanks to MLB, BMO, Bloomberg and the Los Angeles Dodgers, as well as our extensive network of like minded friends and supporters who have helped us become one of the nation’s premier scholarship organizations. Other members of JRF’s Donor Hall of Fame include GE, Goldman Sachs, Unilever and The Starr Foundation. We are honored to have such prestigious partners help us fulfill our great mission.
