Join the many who are supporting the nation's premiere organization in promoting opportunity through education and developing the leaders of tomorrow.
The Jackie Robinson Foundation has numerous partnership opportunities for like-minded corporations, private foundations and individuals who seek to support our vital work. By choosing one of the options below, you will be joining a strong and exceptionally loyal community of partners who have contributed to a growing number of ambassadors of Jackie Robinson's legacy and of our partner's commitment to the community.
Southwestern Welcome Reception
Since 1973, the Jackie Robinson Foundation has provided $43 million in program assistance, including $21 million in direct financial aid, to 1,300 JRF Scholars from across the nation.
JRF has designed a multifaceted program that not only addressed the financial needs of minority students who aspire to attend college, but guides them through the process, molding these young people into highly sought–after future leaders. Mentoring, career guidance, internship placement, networking and support supplement financial assistance for those entering college, increasing their odds of graduating and making them far more desirable for employment.
Sponsor a Scholarship
By sponsoring a Scholar, you are making a commitment to the life of a young person of color at a pivotal period in his or her life. You will also be joining the over 400 corporations, foundations and individuals who have enriched the lives of 1,300 JRF Alumni while enhancing their own experiences.
Endow a Scholarship
Leave a lasting legacy by funding a JRF Scholarship in perpetuity.
The central touch–point during the year for JRF Scholars is the annual Networking Weekend, four days of leadership development workshops, career exploration seminars, meetings with key public and private sector leaders, cultural outings and practical life skills training on subjects ranging from personal financial management to dining etiquette. Workshops feature topics ranging from career development and professional communication to business technology and social activism.
JRF also provides international study, internship, volunteer and work opportunities through the Rachel Robinson International Fellowship (RRIF) and financial aid for graduate studies through the Extra Innings Program. These programs help our Scholars become even more prepared for an increasingly global workplace.
You may speak with a Jackie Robinson Foundation representative to discuss partnership and sponsorship opportunities available in any of these programs.
