Meet the 2018 – 2020 Jackie Robinson Foundation Alumni Executive Board

These five JRF alumni lead a network of over 1,500 people who have come through the JRF Scholarship Program over the last 45 years.
President – Christopher Dean ‘08
This finance professional spends his days making investments as a Cross-Asset Trader at Senator Investment Group, a New York-based, event-driven investment firm with $9 billion in assets under management. Christopher invests his time in serving several charitable organizations including being a member of the Council of Urban Professionals, an organization which seeks racial, ethnic and gender parity in the highest business and civic leadership positions in the U.S. His professional experience and commitment to service make him a fitting leader for the Alumni Association.
Vice President – Carolyn Jones ‘88
This communications professional is a Director, Corporate Communications at UBS, Wealth Management Americas. She has more than 20 years of experience in financial services marketing and communications for global wealth and asset management institutions. She has been actively involved in Diversity and Inclusion programs focused on mentorship throughout her career. Her marketing and communications background will serve her well as she helps to keep alumni engaged and informed about JRF.
Secretary – Elyse Perez (née Phillips) ‘09
Before becoming a JRF Scholar, Elyse was first introduced to the Jackie Robinson Foundation when she volunteered on the Soda Pop Committee at the Foundation’s annual Afternoon of Jazz concert as a child. Today, Elyse is a Senior Project Manager for event management agency FIRST at Goldman Sachs where she has received multiple awards for her work on firm events. She brings her years of experience in event planning and firsthand knowledge of JRF history to the Alumni Association.
Treasurer – Jennifer Kincaid ‘09
Jennifer is a Community Partners Account Manager for MassHealth, leading government innovations in health policy and a dedicated Advisory Board Member at Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center. She also mentors young professionals interested in public health, medicine, biotechnology, and marketing. She brings her experience in nonprofits and policy and a passion for mentoring to the Alumni Association.
Director of Membership – Lili Wondwossen ’14
A Senior Project Analyst at State Street Corporation, one of the largest asset management companies in the world, Lili has been in the finance industry since graduating from Boston University. She is also active in Boston’s Ethiopian community and serves as a mentor for young people in the area. Her enthusiasm for community building will help her to grow the JRF Alumni Association.
