2014-2015 Accomplishments
The Union City, Georgia native accumulated a wide range of accolades including Research Excellence Award (Clark Atlanta University), School Science Fair Winner (2011, 2012, 2013), Regional Finalist (2013), Ranked number 1 of 170 in graduating class, and Academic Achievement in Social Studies, Biology, Math, Literature, and Foreign Language.

Career Aspirations
Best Uchehara enters Morehouse College in pursuit of a Biology/Engineering degree with the hopes of becoming a cardiologist with a primary focus on helping underserved regions around the world.

Community Service
In addition to an outstanding academic performance, Best maximized his secondary experience by serving as President of SkillsUSA, President of the National Honors Society, and President of the Science Club. As part of his commitment to community service, the United Health sponsored Scholar also served as a mentor for the Youth Mentoring and Empowerment Initiative and performed as a clarinetist for his church’s music ministry.
