2014-2015 Accomplishments

The Lincoln, Nebraska native earned diverse academic accolades including second place honors in the Nebraska State Journalism Tournament (May 2011), U.S. Bank Believer and Achiever Award Recipient (September 2013), Lincoln East Honor Roll (2010-Present), and three Academic Letters (2010-2013).

Career Aspirations

Imani Wilson enters Northwestern University in pursuit of a Political Science degree with the goal of joining Teach for America and continuing her education with an advanced degree.

Community Service

The Girls’ Varsity Basketball Captain proved her multitude of talents as Editor-in-Chief for the Lincoln East Newspaper with the task of managing the production of the quarterly Oracle newspaper, enforcing deadlines, and collaborating with writers and photographers to create interesting stories.
