“Jackie Robinson made a difference in the world and opened the doors of opportunity for me,” said Victoria. “To be a Jackie Robinson Scholar and to be associated with this great man is an honor.”
The High Point, North Carolina native earned distinguished honors including Century Club Participant (Top 100 academic students in the school), Chief Junior Marshall Scholar, National Honor Society Member, and Honor Roll recipient. Along with her excellent academic performance, the Coca-Cola sponsored Scholar also performed as part of the Marching Band, served as President of the Interact Club, and was an active member of the Health Occupational Students of America Club.
Victoria Vazquez has her eyes set on a Biology degree as she enters North Greenville University with dreams of becoming a physician who serves developing countries around the world.
Demonstrating her commitment to giving back, Victoria volunteered for the Youth for Christ Camp and served as a member of the Tri-M society where she supported a wide range of service projects in her community.
